8 Wedding Trends You Don't Want to Sleep On in 2020
Every new year we begin sets a new tone for the wedding industry! Whether you’re planning a wedding, in a wedding, or just interested in the wedding industry, this list is for YOU.
Here are some popular trends making their way into 2020!
Going Green
This is probably one of my favorite trends! The wedding industry can be such a wasteful one. Sustainable weddings are the new way to go and I’m living for it. There are many ways to “upcycle” your wedding to reduce your carbon footprint. Things like using recycled paper for invitations, donating or repurposing your florals, using a family heirloom as your ring, using locally grown food, and hiring vendors who prioritize sustainability are all great ways to ‘go green’ for your wedding!

2. Intimate Ceremonies
Smaller, intimate ceremonies are on the rise! Think about it as an exclusive party. The budget per guest is higher so all of your closest friends and family can be treated like royalty at your shindig. This trend is perfect for keeping costs down, as well as for introverts who don’t love being the center of attention!

Dietary restrictions are becoming more and more widespread. Nut allergies, vegetarians, vegans, gluten intolerance humans, have no fear, this trend is for you! Couples are opting to be more thoughtful in 2020, and food is just the tip of the iceberg.

6. Personalized Invitations
Invitations are a PERFECT way to personalize your wedding as well! More and more couples are hiring professional stationery designers to make their invitations POP. Couples are getting more into color this year, so this is a great way to introduce your wedding color scheme and style from the start. Embrace bold colors, textures, and different materials when working with your invitation designer.

7. C O L O R
Don’t be afraid of color! Classic, traditional weddings often sport a neutral, sometimes white color palette. If color is your thang, don’t be afraid to throw some of those personal touches into your special day.
