Looks Like Film TN | Memphis Meet Up | Memphis Tennessee Wedding + Portrait Photographer

I have to say, I was extremely intimidated and reserved about attending this meet up. I had never met most of the photographers in our LooksLikeFilmTN group, but I had of course, lurked them on Facebook and looked at their beautiful work. I thought for sure I didn't measure up! I even texted Cassie and told her I was hesitant about going and she immediately said, "NO! You are coming!" She definitely talked me into it and I'm so glad she did!

LooksLikeFilm TN is a group that started out based on photographers who like to shoot film or emulate the style of film based in or around Tennessee. The admins try to schedule a meet up at least every month, and I am so glad this month's was in my neck of the woods. This was also my first ever official "styled" shoot with some really amazing, talented models and fellow photographers. I'm fairly new to the LLFTN group, so I didn't know what to expect!

Our meet up in Memphis was held at the wonderful 409 South Main, which has beautiful windows, wood floors, and exposed brick walls. It's a gorgeous venue for weddings and receptions. (I even had the opportunity to attend a wedding reception there this past weekend and it was absolutely perfect.) I am so thankful Ms. Rebecca allowed us to use her venue for our meet up! After we were all good and sweaty, we made our way to Central BBQ for some delicious Memphis BBQ. We had photographers and models come in all the way from Nashville and Arkansas, so we had to show them REAL barbecue.

Thank you to everyone who arranged this meet up and made it possible! I am so glad to have met all of you and I am so inspired by each and every one of you.
